Dr. Debabrata Dash is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Microbiology at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Dr. Dash serves as the Member Secretary of the Hospital Infection Control Committee and of the Biomedical Waste Management Committee at AIIMS. He is also a reviewer of several scientific journals and has 14 research publications.

Dr. Dash received an MBBS from V.S.S. Medical College and Hospital (now VIMSAR) in Sambalpur, Odisha, India. He received an MD from S.C.B. Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, Odisha. Dr. Dash completed his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Microbiology in 2017 and was awarded Membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) in 2018. He completed his Senior Residency at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in Raipur.

Dr. Dash’s research interests include antimicrobial resistance mechanisms and antimicrobial stewardship.
