Vikas Suri is a Professor of Internal Medicine at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.

Dr. Suri has been teaching as a professor at PGIMER Chandigarh since 2006. He also coordinated the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) National Registry on COVID-19 cases in the state of Punjab. Dr. Suri participated in the Punjab State Task Expert Group to formulate COVID-19 treatment guidelines for healthcare professionals in Punjab.

In addition to receiving several fellowships and awards related to the field of infectious disease, Dr. Suri has contributed to over 100 research publications and has edited four book chapters about the treatment of infectious diseases, including COVID-19.

He received his MBBS and MD at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana, India. He completed his Diplomate of National Board in Medicine in 2003.
