Ayesha Sunavala is a Consultant in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the P.D. Hinduja National Hospital & Research Center in Mumbai, India. She also serves as Secretary of the hospital’s Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee.

Dr. Sunavala is the Principal Investigator of several research projects related to antimicrobial stewardship across India. She is also a core committee member and co-author of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) National Treatment Guidelines for Antimicrobial Use in Common Syndromes, which was published in 2019.
